DISTRIBUTION: This species comes from Bolivia, Brazil

AQUARIUM CARE: This is an easy to keep Corydoras, which requires no special attention. Similar to Corydoras sterbai, and the two are often mistaken.

BREEDING: In the wild, eggs are laid in dense vegetation and are not guarded. Eggs are carried by the female in her ventral fin pouch and then placed at a previously cleaned site; usually the underside of a leaf, however in captivity, this is as likely to be a stone or te aquarium glass
