ADULT SIZE: 15 cm

WATER CONDITIONS: Very hard and alkaline

TEMPERATURE RANGE: 23-26 C

FOOD: Feed Julidochromis marlieri live and dried foods

DISTRIBUTION: This species comes from Lake Tanganyika

AQUARIUM CARE: A larger and more aggressive Julie that pairs for life. It inhabits the rocky shores of Lake Tanganyika, and as such requires a rocky aquarium with plenty of caves. Once a pair is established they can be very terratorial, so it is advisable to keep them either as a pair – or in a spaceous rift lake community. Pairing is best achieved by buying a group of young, and removing the unpaired individuals
