WATER CONDITIONS: Moderately soft and acidic

FOOD: Feed Hypancistrus sp. L260 live and dried foods
DISTRIBUTION: This species comes from Brazil
AQUARIUM CARE: A splendid looking catfish, from the Rio Tapajós in Brazil. It is generally nocturnal, and will retreat into a crevace for most of the day. Its tank should contain bogwood, and preferably a sand substrate.
BREEDING: According to a report in Practical Fishkeping magazine, this was occurred in captivity, following a large water change. Most commercially available stock are imported from Brazil
