FOOD: Feed Chilatherina bleheri small live-foods and fine grade dried foods

DISTRIBUTION: This species comes from Indonesia

AQUARIUM CARE: This rainbowfish is an active shoaler, coming from Lake Holmes (Danau Bira) in the lower Mamberamo River system in Irian Jaya, Indonesia. In the aquarium it likes open water for swimming, but also some planting, and floating plants.

BREEDING: Eggs can be gathered with spawning mops; fry can be immediately fed on newly hatched artemia nauplii.
