Aquarium Fish :: View topic – what will discus eat?

as in, which tankmates will they eat? I’ve heard that they do eat tetras, but my friend kept cardinal tetras with them happily enough. Will neones get eaten? I’ve got a terrific amazon basin setup, with tetras (many types, neon, cardinal, others, hatchetfish) and I’ve seen the most beautiful young discus. They are small now, but if they grow large enough to eat their tankmates, I’ll leave it cheers
