I have a “divided” tank with Nothobranchius guentheri in one side and austrolebias nigrinnis in the other side. Somehow though, the nigrinnis females seem to keep getting through. The tank is perfectly big enought to keep both species quite happily but will they
interbreed?

No they wont – if they were left together they might try, but the eggs would probably never hatch. Generally its different species from the same genus that interbreed. Mind you I have seen a cross between Aphyosemion and Fundulopanchax, but never a Notho and Austolebias_________________Check out my Killifish
