Hi Trevor, they are such a lovely fish, but you were right to ask about pros and cons. Pros: they will recognize you; feed from the hand, act like a ‘proper’ pet Cons: they’ll eat all your plants! Also the lovely striped yound in pet shops loose those nice stripes! I have kept severums for many years, and don’t miss the plants at all!
