Aquarium Fish :: View topic – good catfish for my cichlids

hello, I have a question. I recently aquired a magnificent trio of cichlids – Haplichromis obliquidens CH44. They are in a 30 gallon tank on their own. I intend to spawn these fish, but would like to add a catfish too. Can you suggest a suitable species that will 1. not outgrow the tank 2. not eat eggs, fry or otherwise prevent the cichlids from breeding 3. preferably be African if not from Lake Victoria itself Thank you, I really appreciate any input
