Are external filters better than internal? I like the idea of keeping the tank uncluterred, but are they worth the extra cost do you thnk. I haven’t fully decided, so any opinions welcome tia

In my opinion external filters are better, because they are easier to reach when in need of mantainance, and they do a better job when filtering. I have experimented both and came to the conclusion that external filters are the best for me
