Corys (most anyway) are pretty easy to breed really. I have had continual sucess simply by doing a large water change, and then topping up with cooler water. Of course, they do like to be well fed first, but if they are, the water change does the rest. As the previous poster stated this simulates the rainy season, which is when many fish breed in the wild. There are more food items available, and the water levels will be at their highest when the fish are born, and growing. What species are you working with? good luck, and keep us informed
